Submit a Photo
Photo submissions as reference material for new dog paintings are always welcome, and you are not under any obligation to buy any painting that I create from your photos!
You can select the rescue group that the donation will go to when the painting is sold (International rescue groups must be able to accept Paypal donations).
The Best Photos:
- Clear, detailed and not Blurry
- Eyes clearly visible
- Dog’s face or body fills most of the viewfinder of the camera when taking the photo
- 1000 pixels or there abouts (passport size photos are just too small!)
- Photos that show personality and attitude
Please also note that by submitting a photo for the Dog Paintings Project you are not Commissioning a portrait of your dog (the artwork, pricing structure and procedure for commissioned pet portraits is quite different, so if a custom painting is what you would like, please visit my website for commission information.)
As an artist, copyright ownership is very important to me - both my own and that of the photo references that I use in my artwork. Generally the copyright holder will always be the person (amateur or professional) who took the photograph, so please only submit photos that you have personally taken.
When this form is received, an email will be sent to you with the email address for photo delivery.
Please note that submitting a photo for the Dog Paintings Project is not the same as Commissioning a portrait!
